About JEE Main 2020: Joint Entrance Examination Main 2020 (JEE Main 2020) is a National Level Entrance Examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from the year 2020 for admission into Engineering (BE/ B.Tech) and Architecture (B.Arch/ B.Plan) in top NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, SFIs, State Engineering Colleges for Participating States and other Participating Institutions.
About NTA: National Testing Agency (NTA) has been developed as a premier, autonomous, specialist and self-sustained testing organization to conduct entrance examinations for fellowship/ admission in top educational institutions.
Conducting Authority: JEE Main 2020 is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from the year where previously it was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Level: JEE Main 2020 is a National Level Entrance Examination conducted in all the major cities across India.
Frequency: The JEE Main 2020 is conducted twice a year in the month of January and April.
Exam Paper: The examination will be conducted in two individual paper i.e. Paper I - Engineering (BE/ B.Tech) Paper II - Architecture (B.Arch/ B.Plan).
Counselling Process: (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) has the credit to conducts JEE Main Counselling process for the Participating Institutes.

JEE (Main) Eligibility Criterion
For appearing in JEE (Main) 2020 the candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination (given below). However, Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in 2020 may also appear in JEE (Main) 2020 provisionally.
List of Qualifying Examinations for JEE (Main)
The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi
Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University.
Final Examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.
H.S.C. Vocational Examination.
A passing grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
3 or 4-year diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
JEE MAIN - All India Engineering Entrance Exam
JEE MAIN 2014 All India Engineering Entrance Examination is one of the most sort after Engineering Entrance Exams held in India. It is conducted for admission to Engineering, Architecture, Planning and Pharmacy degree courses in various engineering colleges and institutes spread all over India.JEE MAIN is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ), and Department of Secondary & Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in compliance with the directives of the Government of India (GOI). A centralized counseling system is provided for filling up the available seats all over India.
JEE MAIN Eligibility
The minimum academic qualification for admission through JEE MAIN Entrance Exam is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent. Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in JEE MAIN. and B.Tech courses through JEE MAIN one needs to have physics and Mathematics and any one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Biology.
